Date: April 22–26, 2026

Event Overview

From Rock to Future - Artnovation transforms heritage into design, memory into material, and culture into global dialogue.

Artnovation enters the global stage at Milan Design Week 2026, presenting a bold vision that places African heritage at the centre of global design conversations.

This milestone marks a significant step in advancing the Africa–Europe Creative Economy, strengthening cultural and economic exchange between Nigeria, Italy, and the wider global community.

Concept Overview

A Rock. A Memory. A Future.

Artnovation: The Rock That Remembers reimagines Olumo Rock not just as a heritage site, but as a living narrative of resilience, memory, and regenerative creativity.

The project explores:

  • How landscapes carry stories
  • How materials communicate across cultures
  • How design bridges heritage and innovation

At Milan Design Week, Olumo Rock becomes a design language - where material, culture, technology, and storytelling converge.

The Artnovation Framework in Action

  • Story → Art
    Cultural narratives become artistic expressions
  • Art → Design
