This work explores the beginning of form, where Olumo Rock emerges from the earth as a raw, ancient presence and gradually evolves into the vertical rhythm of Milan Cathedral. The composition bridges nature and architecture, suggesting that the first act of design begins with the earth itself. Indigo Adire patterns embedded within the rock evoke memory forming inside material, while rising light symbolises creation—positioning nature as the original architect and humanity as its interpreter.

Genesis Drapery embodies the origin of form, translating the raw emergence of Olumo Rock into layered textile expression. Using vibrant Ojude Aso fabrics interwoven with Milanese lace, the garment mimics geological strata and the natural formation of the earth. Its sculptural silhouette reflects the meeting point between nature and design, where material begins its journey from organic existence to intentional creation.
