Open: The Rock that Speaks to Tomorrow

This final work expands into a future-facing vision where fragments of Olumo Rock and the Duomo dissolve into contemporary design products and spatial concepts. Lighting elements, interior forms, and architectural ideas emerge, suggesting how heritage can evolve into everyday environments. Bright tones of earth, gold, and luminous light create a sense of openness and possibility, while flowing connections symbolise Africa–Europe collaboration. The work positions culture not as static memory, but as a source of future design and global innovation.
Fashion: The Bridge Garment
The Bridge Garment symbolises connection—between cultures, continents, and creative systems. Adire and Italian lace are interwoven into a unified form, representing the dialogue between Africa and Europe. The garment moves beyond fashion into a statement of cultural diplomacy, expressing a future in which heritage is not divided but shared, and in which design becomes a bridge linking past, present, and possibility.
